Tommy + Kelly's Teacher Tour is back, presented by the Virginia Lottery! Like all things in 2020, we had to change up our usual adventures of surprising thousands of teachers across Northern Virginia! This year, we're looking for that special educator in your life who is going above and beyond in these trying times of distance learning.
Now's your chance to nominate your favorite Virginia teacher. Kelly Collis and Tommy McFLY will make a personal visit to their school or home (using safe social distance and mask protocols) with an awesome delivery of gratitude from the Virginia Lottery. Of course there will be Georgetown Cupcakes, Virginia Lottery Scratchers, cool swag, delicious chocolates from Farmers Restaurant Group and other unique surprises. Staff from each teacher's school will even get special prizes from the Virginia Lottery!
Though circumstances may have changed, the mission of the Virginia Lottery hasn't. Since 1999, more than $10 billion in lottery proceeds has been contributed to Virginia’s K-12 public schools for programs like school breakfast, early reading intervention, and career and technical education. Whether you’re a teacher, a parent, or maybe an alum we want to hear from you.
