Baby Makes A Grandslam, Caps Win, Odessa the DC Gangster Gets a Documentary, Squid Game Candy Comes to DC 

Mr. National, Ryan Zimmerman, and his wife Heather announced on Instagram they are expecting their 4th child in January, a baby boy. 

The Capitals won their home opener last night against the Rangers 5-1. Alex Ovechkin scored a pair of goals and passed Hockey Hall of Famer Marcel Dionne for fifth place on the League's all-time list.

 A documentary about a DC-based black female gangster, Odessa Madre who ran a lucrative gambling ring in D.C. in the 1950s has been released on WHUT-TV.

The Congressional Cemetery is holding the annual fundraiser “Soul Strolls” on Friday and Saturday night, as well as a less creepy Sunday day stroll.
