Epilepsy Awareness Day: Kelly's Conversation With Children's National And Her Family's Journey

Kelly Collis' son was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (JME) four years ago and he is thriving as a teenager thanks to the incredible team at Children’s National. Kelly along with Children’s National hosted a panel discussion with experts about their efforts to transform epilepsy care and treat the whole child through psychological care and cutting-edge surgical treatments. Also discussed how we can remove the stigma often associated with Epilepsy. They shared insights from genetics and the latest advances in epilepsy research.
