National Guard Sleeping At FedEx Field While Deployed to Washington, DC.
"Definitely a first sleeping in a football stadium, you know, lived in, conexes, huts, tents ... it's another one on the list of things I've slept in." CSM Proulx of the Michigan National Guard talked about his experience bunking up at FedEx Field. The home of the Washington Football Team has served as home base for many of the Guard while deployed to the Nation's Capitol. We got access to the facility with The USO as they have been providing comfort and resources to the Guard while in DC. The USO has also been assisting at The DC Armory and Andrews Air Force Base.
