Music City Baseball has celebrities getting involved to bring Major League Baseball to Nashville. Justin Timberlake, Luke Combs and Darius Rucker have financial committed to invest and join the business organization advisory board that is working to get the MLB expansion team. Nicknamed the Nashville Stars, as a tribute to the former semi-pro Negro Major League team from the 1930s of the same name. Nashville’s closest baseball stadium is 4 hours, almost all equidistant, to the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and St. Louis Cardinals.
